What We Have Achieved 

      By virtue of the professional standing of one of the partners with Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT-Bangkok) in various position (Chairman-APT Study Group) & Vice Chairman APT Management Committee etc.) assistance provided in the preparation of guide lines on systems engineering on optical fiber, transmission systems, satellite based networks, and their implementation. Since 1999, assistance was provided also to Telecom Foundation ( IT and Telecommunication Division) In the defining of criteria for joint venture partnerships with foreign companies, pre-feasibility of a 1400 km long optical fiber for Pakistan Railways to provide telecom facilities at railway stations. Rural communication and high speed internet set-up reroute.

  AK Telecom Services, a new addition to the group, has recently been involved with the following activities in the public and private sectors: 

• Feasibility study to provide broadband & high speed internet services via PSTN by developing XDSL technologies at major cities of Pakistan. 

• Feasibility on turn key cable TV project for the grant of a cable TV license 

• Signed a LOI with technology transfer sector, Khartoum, Government of Sudan.

• Assisting expatriate and national business interests 

• In various reconstruction and rehabilitation projects planned for Afghanistan.
